Indonesian products on display

Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Vancouver this Thursday and Friday to present “Indonesia’s Products Exhibition and Networking Event

 

Indonesia ranks 15th in the world in terms of GDP Purchasing Power Parity (World Bank 2007) – just one rung shy of Canada on the ladder of global economies.
The country also holds the number five spot among Pacific Rim destinations for Canadian foreign direct investment.



To help local businesses capitalize on this relationship, the Vancouver Indonesia Trade Information Centre is teaming up with the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Vancouver this Thursday and Friday to present “Indonesia’s Products Exhibition and Networking Event” – on from 12-8pm at the Canada and Export Centre (Suite 100-602 W Hastings St).
Admission is free.


Products on display include leather footwear and bags, cocoa products, fish products, automotive parts, hospital equipment, cosmetics, men’s apparel, furniture, handicrafts and baby accessories.


Program

Thu & Fri 12-8pm – Product showcase
Thu & Fri 12-2pm – A seminar on identifying business opportunities and doing business in Indonesia
Thu & Fri 5-8pm – Networking reception.
Only 20 seats are available for the seminar, so pre-registration is advised.
