Top jobs that can land you an Asian date

Being a teacher, entrepreneur or working as a medical professional is going to land you an Asian date faster than if you occupation is anything else.
That’s according to a new survey by AsianDate survey, which reveals the six most popular occupations of members from Asia.
AsianDate, the international dating website aimed at helping members find an Asian match, has shared information about the six most popular occupations of Asian members on its website. 
Profession is a keenly observed topic in the dating profile of members on AsianDate. It is often a subject that triggers discussion and helps break the ice, thus paving the way for enhanced communication, the company said.
Teaching is the profession that takes first position among Asian members registered with AsianDate. 
Teaching is one of the most respected professions and that’s why Asian teachers are likely to have a positive time finding their ideal matches. Second on the survey list are members who have entrepreneurial skills, with many members managing their own business. These members are often regarded as sociable, friendly and willing to take risks to find their perfect match online.
The occupation that occupies third place on the list of six most popular professions among Asian members is the medical profession. Doctors and nurses are among members registered with AsianDate and they get a lot of attention from singles because they are regarded as caring and compassionate. They are seen as wonderful individuals who are likely to make great companions, the company said.
Professionals from the accounting, banking and finance sectors are fourth on the list. This is a profession that’s associated with good intelligence and that’s why these singles make excellent companions. Sales professionals are fifth on the list of the most popular occupations of AsianDate members. 
They are perceived as confident, lively and driven and have the potential to be wonderful companions. Managers and those who pursue management-related activities are sixth on the list of popular occupations.
Work and career form a crucial part of conversation among members and can be an effective ice-breaker.

Meanwhile another survey by Adecco in seven Asia-Pacific countries that asks children what they want to be when they grow up.
The seven countries polled included Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Japan’s results revealed a different top choice compared to the others.
Out of the seven Asian countries in which the survey was carried out (with sample sizes ranging from 150 to 1,500 respondents aged 7 to 14), only Japan showed businessperson as one of the three most common results.
In Japan, Adecco polled 500 boys and 500 girls between the ages of 6 and 15 with the top responses for boys being a businessman (10.2%) followed by a professional football athlete (10% and civil servant (6.6%). For the girls, the top choice was confectioner/patisserie worker (11%) followed by teacher (6.4%) and businesswoman (5.8%).
The survey also showed that teacher and doctor are popular occupation choices among the seven countries polled with both of those occupations ranking as the top choice in three countries.
 Vietnam, South Korea and Thailand had doctor ranked as the top choice while Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan had teacher ranked as top choice.
