Restaurant Review: The Hastings Warehouse

The Hastings Warehouse is like Allegiant Air: it offers low advertised prices, but adds up quickly with extras. We had the Bacon Poutine and Chicken Caesar Wrap. It featured crunchy fries topped with cheese curds, salty gravy and a decent amount of bacon. I would've liked more cheese. The wrap was pretty standard. It wasn't overdressed, so it ate cleanly.
I got two orders of Chicken Wings - the honey garlic and salt and pepper. The meat was not dried out, even with the crispy exterior. I enjoyed the simple salt and pepper wings more.  For my main, I had the Braised Beef Spaghetti . Not gourmet, but decent. The pasta was al dente with enough meat for every bite.  There was a tartness with the meatiness.
We had beef in the Braised Beef Quesadilla served with guacamole and salsa. It had lots of beef in a crispy shell.  Not aggressively seasoned, the decently tender meat was natural-tasting. The portion size reflected the menu pricing. Considering that a burger could be had for the same price, this dish was small even for the low cost.  The nacho chips had the usual stuff.
The best value at the Hastings Warehouse is their burgers. We had the BBQ Burger featuring produce with cheese and bbq sauce on a brioche bun. The burger was fine.  The side of peppered fries were crispy and light. Yes, the place is reasonable, but the food is generally reflective of that and as mentioned, the cost can quickly climb when adding extras, beverages and refills.
