Parents and children put on a stellar show at the Fairchild Radio’s Little Sunshine Talent Search called “Little Sunshine Halloween Special” at Yaohan Centre in Richmond on October 29.

One mother and son dressed as a pair of Emojis while a father dressed as Popeye and his daughter as Olive.

The five winners were: Ryan Tang (age 8, from Vancouver) was crowned the “Little Sunshine Boy Champion” and Tracy Wang (age 9, from Richmond) the “Little Sunshine Girl Champion”. The title of “Talent Award” went to Jessica Huang (age 9, from Vancouver), “Best Costume Award” went to Jerry Yu (age 11, from Vancouver). Alexis Chan (age 6, from Vancouver) was voted on Facebook as this year’s “My Favorite Little Sunshine”.

Little Sunshine is an annual talent search for Chinese speaking kids between the ages of four and 12.

Winners of Little Sunshine will participate in various goodwill projects in the Chinese community. The first one off the list will be a clothing drive for Salvation Army this winter.
