This is my fourth and final post from “The Sidewalks of Kiev”.  So much of what we wear is influenced by what’s available locally.  As a result, it’s easy to spot the latest arrivals on the sidewalk.  While the Internet is changing that somewhat it is still a challenge to find unique pieces and outfits.  For example, I would have never imagined heels could be safely worn in snow and slush until I saw a pair of pumps with tractor soles!  The flat brimmed hats look chic while reflecting the traditional Carpathian style of Ukrainian clothing.  Shapelie's Hats are sold at BCI CBOI for $85 CDN ($1,620 UAH).  I hope you've enjoyed a glimpse of Ukrainian fashion!
