This is the second year Uniglobe International is working with Hong Kong ATV for the Miss Asia Pageant Vancouver 2011. Organisers are accepting all Asian female applicants between the age of 16 - 26. The Vancouver Pageant will be in the River Rock Show Theatre, Richmond, BC, Canada on Sept 13, 2011. The winner will compete in the finals in China in late December. The total prize money and gifts for the Final night will be worth over CD$500,000.
This year the majority of the proceeds from Vancouver will be donated to Ping An Medical Foster Home as surgery fees for the orphans in Beijing
Since Miss Asia Pageant was first screened in 1985, the event has injected great vitality into the concept of competition and participation and has been an annual event of great popularity, with many golden moments cherished still by appreciative audiences.
History suggests that Miss Asia contestants are guaranteed a promising future.
