Electronic world music is coming to Main Street.
Portland based DJ Anjali & The Incredible Kid will perform on Friday Oct. 7 at the Electric Owl Social Club in Vancouver.
DJ Anjali is a bhangra/bollywood beats maestro based out of the state of Oregan where she has orchestrated a regular bhangra night as part of the local club scene.
The night will also kick off with some Eastern European dance music from Hyenas DJ’s, followed by a Congolese Rumba performance by Okapi Muzika.
This is not the first visit to Vancouver for the duo as they headlined the opening night at the 2007 Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration.
