World Religions Conference will be held in Mission on February 7th from 6 to 9 PM at Clark Theatre, Heritage Center.
The conference is being organized by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in cooperation with the Star of Sea Parish, Multi-faith Action Society, Guru Nanak School, Suman Sargam Music School and the Sikh community.
Prominent speakers will highlight the humanitarian essence of their respective faiths
while expressing views on the theme of ‘Existence of God and human suffering’.
Mrs. Myoshin Kate McCandless will present the Buddhist perspective, Dr. Richard
Tropping - Christianity; Mrs. Suman Sharma - Hinduism; Mrs. Ab - Judaism; Mr.
Muhammed Afzal Mirza - Islam; and Gian Singh Kotli will present Sikh perspective.
Mayor of Mission, Ted Adlem will be the presiding chair and moderator of this event. Admission is free for all and also refreshments will be served.
