Santa comes to Lougheed

It’s closing in on Christmas and what would Christmas be without song, snow and Santa?
Well the jolly old-timer with the sled full of presents is back from the North Pole.
In fact, he will be a yuletide appearance at the Burnaby and Coquitlam shopping destination of Lougheed Town Centre at 10:30AM on Saturday, November 17th.
Santa’s closest friends, Rudolph, Frosty and Santa’s elves will be there to help Santa to find his way to Lougheed Town Centre as they sing along with Bobs and Lolo to some of your favourite holiday tunes.
Then will join us in a parade to Santa’s Winter Wonderland and maybe all your Christmas wishes will come through and it may even snow at Santa’s workshop, making this a most magical day.
Bobs and Lolo will return to the stage for a second concert at 12:30pm.
Until 2pm, children will be able to write a letter to Santa with the help of volunteers from the Canada Post Letter Carriers, enjoy a mandarin orange and make a holiday decoration to take home.
And don’t forget to take a fun ride on the popular “North Pole Express” miniature train and of course, visit Santa and have your photo taken with him for a special holiday memory!
Lougheed Town Centre, a Burnaby shopping and Coquitlam shopping destination, is home to over 140 shops and services including H&M, Walmart, London Drugs, Safeway, and The Bay.
