Gloria Tang from Vancouver beat out sixteen contestants from around the world to win Miss Chinese International. The 20-year old UBC marketing student celebrated her victory in Hong Kong where the elite pageant took place on February 24th. The 1st runner up was Denise Tan  from Kuala Lumpur and the 2nd runner up was Carat Cheung from Hong Kong. Cheung also has Vancouver ties as she is a graduate of UBC.
