US Consulate hosts online visa chat

The United States Consulate General in Vancouver will host a web chat on August 21st from 11:00AM to 12:00PM to answer your general questions about non-immigrant visas.
Participants will have the opportunity to message a Consular Officer directly and get answers on a range of visa-related topics.
Commonly asked questions include:
• “How do I apply for a visa?”
• “Should I use an advisor or service to apply?”
• “What do I need to take with me to the interview?”
• “Can my family visiting from India or China apply for a U.S. tourist visa in Vancouver?”
These and many other questions can be answered during the session.
Those who are unable to participate in the live discussion can refer to a transcript of the web chat that will be posted soon after the event.
Members of the public will also have the option of submitting questions a week in advance (starting August 14th) through the same web chat link provided below.
All questions will be saved and answered during the web chat on August 21st.
This web chat will be conducted in English.
