Donair Dude on Granville Street creates amazing donairs. 

Recently, we were looking for an affordable lunch option when we stumbled upon Donair Dude, offering some of the best donairs in the city. 

During our impromptu visit, the $5.99 lunch special caught my eye. The pita donair with a can of pop was a good deal for a filling lunch under $10. The lunch special is only available from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

First, you pay for your item and then you choose the ingredients for your donair. The multiple vegetable options looked fresh and the resulting Chicken Pita Donair Lunch Combo was huge. It tasted very good and I was very impressed by the execution. It was overflowing with vegetables and meat, while the outside was carefully grilled so that the donair did not fall apart. 

Another option for lunch is the Chicken Rice Plate with two falafels, tabouleh salad, a grilled pita, tzatziki, rice, and a lot of chicken for $9.99. My friend really enjoyed this dish and had enough leftover for a snack later in the day.
