Krafty Kitchen + Bar is a casual farm to table eatery in Kelowna. They use local Canadian ingredients as much as possible. The interior is beautiful. It has an industrial feel. It can seat large groups and small groups.
Their menu puts a good spin on classic comfort dishes.
Seasonal Italian Soda sounded great, but it fell flat. It could have been sweeter and had more bubbles.
The World’s Most Interesting Fried Cheese comes with 2 pieces of Halloumi cheese, topped with corn, tomato jam and greens. The cheese could have been more hot in temperature, but still had good flavours though.
Okanagan Salad comes with greens, stone fruit and chili vinaigrette, goat feta, and toasted seeds + nuts. It was delicious.
When the Krafty Dinner with Pork Belly arrived at the table, we were surprised the pork belly was so thick and crispy. It’s the best mac and cheese I’ve ever had. You have to order it with the pork belly.
Market Tart was a good twist on pizza with a puff pastry.
Overall, the food and atmosphere were good.
