In partnership with HollyNorth Production Supplies and Performance Visual Works, BC Fashion Week, which took place on September 28th 2006, provided their designers a stage that combined multi-media, technology and creative ingenuity. Symbolizing disco for the 21st Century with a t-shaped runway for this season, the venue of the Performance Works Theatre at Granville Island included front row seating of white leather benches provided by Moe’s Home Collections, Vancouver.
“Once again the partnership with HollyNorth Productions will set new standards for runway presentations in Canada,” stated Vladimir Markovich, BC Fashion Week Executive Creative Director. “Add in the creativity and ingenuity of Performance Visual Works and the comfortable style and grace of Moe’s Home Collections and we are set for a great season, “ he continued. With the final lineup including Caius Olowu, Joanna Kulpa, Gleice Apparel, Lela Designs, Evan and Dean, and Asluxe, along with designers Jacqueline Conoir by Rozemerie Cuevas, Blushing Designs by Shelley Klassen, Wanny Tang, Vata Brasil, Mara Gottler, Anna Kosturova and DC Women, the stage and schedule was set for a week showcasing Spring/Summer 2007 individual designer collections.
