Surrey resident Ritika Bhachu has been selected by Upstage This! Productions as a delegate for the Miss World Canada pageant this year.
Bhachu is a computer science graduate from UBC, performs regularly in a local dance troupe, and volunteers for a number of charities.
This winsome young lady is hoping to win the hearts of the crowd and judges through her triple-threat talents of  smarts, savoire-faire, and sexiness.

Upstage This! Productions will choose their first Miss World Canada on May 7th, 2010. The winner will represent Canada in the prestigious Miss World 2010 pageant held later this year in Vietnam.
Bachu aspires to live up to the Miss World motto of “Beauty with a purpose” by raising funds for Variety through her fundraising endeavors.  As an avid fundraising event organizer in her spare time, she has volunteered for and organized several events over the past 9 years to raise funds for charities such as the Canadian Cancer Society, BC Children’s Hospital, and the Surrey Food Bank.
