Feng shui master Joseph Chau Kam Shing gave his annual predictions for the upcoming Chinese New Year, which starts next month. Chau, who has been practicing feng shui for over 30 years in Philippines, predicted the Year of the Yin Water Snake is a time of “challenges” and “conflicts.” Couples planning a wedding this year may want to postpone the date to next year. Lucky colors for the year are gold, silver, white, beige, yellow, brown and red, while the unlucky colors are green, black, grey and blue. Here are his forecast highlights for the upcoming year:

 

Snake (1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013)

People born in the year of the Snake will suffer inauspicious and difficult periods from time to time throughout the year.
