Renowned yoga camp comes to BC

The Progressive Intercultural Community Services Society (PICS) has arranged for Swami Ramdev Ji to hold his first ever Yoga Camp in British Columbia. The renowned Yoga Camp will be held at the Cloverdale Rodeo Fair Grounds (Millennium Park) in Surrey, July 30 to August 3, from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Swami Ji has earned worldwide fame for providing relief to millions of people suffering from various diseases through the use of Pranayam (breathing exercises) and yoga asana. He has taught the practices to Queen Elizabeth.

Charan Gill invites all communities to benefit from this rare opportunity.

"The Camp is not exclusive to any particular religion, rather it is open and inclusive to all Canadians," said Gill. "The event is brought to B.C. to bring awareness of yoga as an addition to healthy and drug free living."

To raise funds for the Yoga University being set up at Dehradun, the admission is by donation of $100, $300 and $500. There are only 5,000 spots available.
