John Koulouris was born in Greece and grew up from a young age in the kitchen of his family’s restaurant. In 1976 John immigrated to Canada and using his worldwide experiences and taste in foods, established numerous restaurants in the Lower Mainland. In July of 2004, John opened Dockers Family Restaurant on Fraser and 45th. What separates Dockers from other restaurants is its atmosphere and a menu like no other. All meals are made from scratch and are served by one of the friendly wait staff. While everything is worth a try, Dockers is well known in Vancouver for their many mouth-watering sub sandwiches (the Greek Sub is a favourite) which are made quickly for those on the run, home-cooked Greek dishes and a great breakfast and dinner menu. Dockers is family owned and operated and the family atmosphere at Dockers makes you feel right at home.
