Narinder Gill immigrated to Canada from India in 1986. Narinder went into the grocery business in 1991 by starting Polo Market on Fraser Street. During that time, Narinder had the opportunity to supply daily customers, restaurants, pizza shops, and Gurdwaras (Sikh Temple) with the freshest foods available. After selling his business, Narinder opened Pizza Plus in December of 2010. Everything in the store is made onsite with fresh ingredients. Pizza Plus offers a traditional western pizza-style menu along with a South Asian flare such as tandoori, butter chicken and paneer pizzas and by the slice to go. By also offering Indian dishes such as curries, butter chicken, sauces and drinks Pizza Plus’s mouth-watering menu provides something for everyone to enjoy. Being family owned and operated, Narinder and his wife, along with the help of their daughter, are able to provide quality customer service to their customers.
