Local radio station RJ1200 is transporting listeners straight to Mumbai for a few hours each morning beginning in August.
The Vancouver-based Top 40 music station has contracted two popular Indian media personalities to produce and host a daily program directly from the heart of Bollywood.Airing Monday to Saturday from 6 -10 a.m., Paras and Sharanya In The Mornings is hosted in Hinglish by Paras Tomar and Sharanya Rajgopal.
Tomar is a TV entertainment host who has frequently been seen on Headlines Today, Zoom, Zee Muzik and CNN IBN interviewing celebrities and reporting on entertainment news.
Rajgopal is a producer of documentaries and also has a radio background including a 2-year stint as the Morning Host for India Mirchi – the country’s largest and most popular radio station. Paras and Sharanya In The Mornings promises insider chatter about the stars, rumors and the latest updates from the gigantic Indian film industry, with Tomar adding that the new show is about “Bollywood, Bollywood and more Bollywood, the stars, hookups and gossip!
