Ho Cer Chun was born in China and as a young adult, he moved to Hong Kong to work for the Hyatt Hotel Restaurant. This is where Ho was able to craft his skills in the kitchen. After spending 13 years in Hong Kong, Ho immigrated to Canada in 1992, and started cooking at a well known Asian Cuisine restaurant. In 2006, Ho opened the Golden House Restaurant. The easy accessibility, people, and multicultural nature of the South Hill area are what drew Ho to the area. The Golden House Seafood Restaurant is family owned and operated. Ho credits his success to his exceptional cooking skills and experience. His experience in the kitchen at higher end restaurants is evident when eating at the Golden House Seafood Restaurant. Everything is prepared fresh, nothing is pre-made. While there are a countless number of specialty dishes that are sure to leave you wanting more, the fresh abalone chicken broth is a must try, or if you’re in the mood for dim sum, then the rice rolls & ox tails hot pot is a must have.
