Essonance Chamber Choir will be performing their concert “Synergy” on May 19th, 7:00PM at St. Faith’s Anglican Church, 7284 Cypress Street (East Boulevard and 57th Avenue).

The concert will feature contemporary choral pieces from around the world – Russian, German, French, Chinese, and more.

Essonance Chamber Choir is a diverse group of university students and alumni with a passion for music. This energetic and dedicated group comes together from various academic backgrounds and many of the members are non-music majors.

The musical director and founder, Livia Gho, is a Composition graduate from the School of Music at the University of British Columbia.

Since its establishment in 2008, Essonance Chamber Choir has sung at various elderly homes, Vancouver General Hospital and many other university and community events. The choir was invited to perform at an ASEAN Leaders event at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Vancouver and at the 2012 World Model United Nations Conference Closing Ceremony.
