Business philosophy:
Value and quality is the key to any successful restaurants. Know your neighbours, get in touch with local communities, be a part of them. Contribute to worthy charity events whenever possible.

Cooking tips:
Understand the difference between quality, quantity and price. An expensive price tag does not always equal to good and fresh ingredients. Cooking is about inspiration - sight, taste, smell; and most importantly, be passionate about the whole process; from preparing the menu, grocery shopping, cooking to presenting the food.

Best thing as a chef in Vancouver:
Able to be part of a vibrant multi-cultural food city and the opportunity to create and enhance unique French-rooted, westcoast-influenced and Asia-inspired cuisine.
