Restaurant Review: East Side Craft House

For dinner, I ordered the Bacon Cheddar Burger – topped with smoked bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, their signature burger sauce and their homemade six-ounce beef patty between a brioche bun. I ordered a side salad with it.

The beef patty was pretty good. It wasn’t too salty and crispy on the edges, which I like. The burger as a whole was a little on the dry side. It needed more of their burger sauce. But overall, good because it wasn’t super greasy.

My side salad was pretty standard: mixed greens and a couple slices of radish, julienne carrots and tomatoes. There was a generous amount of dressing. It had a good, tangy taste to it.

The Mushroom and Swiss Burger was served with sauteed mushrooms, Swiss on a six-ounce homemade beef patty, lettuce, tomato, burger sauce and the brioche bun. The burger was good too, the patty was consistent – crispy on the edges and juicy in the middle. We upgraded to poutine, which was a pretty good portion.
