Jennifer Packet took home top prize at Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant held at Vancouver Convention Centre Dec. 4. First runner up was Winnie Zheng, who also won Vancouver Laser and Skin Care Most Charming Award and Pure Heart and Spirit Award. Second runner up was Danni Jia. Beauty Court Sparkling New Star award went to Xin Wen. Candice Zhang won Luk Fook Jeweller Miss Photogenic award and 3 Fish Best Posture Award. Andrea Zang won the Richmond Anti-Aging Clinic Best complexion award.

Fairchild Television donated $460,000 to the BC Cancer Foundation for the surface-guided radiation therapy. Masters of Ceremonies included Delon Lew, comedian B Chiu and Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant 2017 second runner up Tingting Niu. Judges included celebrity chef Chengxin Wei and World Natural Bodybuilding Champion Kenneth Lo and Canadian Immigrant Award winner Marquis Lung.

The 10 final contestants performed in various arts, including singing, folk dancing, Latin dancing, belly dancing, modern dancing, calligraphy, playing instruments while singing. They als performed a fusion dance routine incorporating Chinese Taichi and Western social dance elements.
